Trick 'r Treat sequel still happening

Being a little closer to our favorite month of the year it was nice to find out that the sequel to Trick 'r Treat is still happening. Michael Dougherty, the original films creator gave a lot of insight to what is on deck for the upcoming film and our favorite Halloween Representative, Sam. He has been busy with another  film called Krampus described as a horror/comedy but has not left Trick 'r Treat on the back burner.

While we wait, fans can pick up the comic book he said would serve as a prequel to the 2009 film that should be due out next month. The book will be in the same scope as the film with an anthology showing some back story for Sam and horror fans favorite holiday. It's entitled "Trick'r Treat: Day of the Dead" and is available for pre-order now on Amazon.
